Calling all Fort Lauderdale Central Beach leaders.

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 26, 2011 -- Consortium of beachfront homeowners' associations in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, known as the Central Beach Alliance is searching for qualified candidates to fill three remaining positions on the board before the March 10th membership meeting.

Anyone interested in assisting need to fill out an application form and return it by 2/28/2011.

All applicants will be appointed by the board - this is not an election.

Attend the March 2nd board meeting to meet the other diirectors and liaisons.

Membership drive
Obtaining renewals and new members

Monitor Beach/City issues

Monitoring government and media information regarding issues that will affect the beach.

Attendance at DRC, P&Z, and City Commission meetings
Monitor beach issues throughout the entire review process and report back to the CBA

Beach redevelopment board/CRA
Need to attend meeting of Beach Redevelopment Advisory Board and report back to CBA.

Code enforcement
Help in correcting code violations. Followup on issues.

Bylaw review and revision

Review bylaws, make recommendations for needed changes, implement process for changes (ie: written ballots, mailings).
