The feet suffer from a number of health problems, ranging from minor cuts and scrapes to serious long term disorders which can greatly reduce mobility. In the grand scheme of things, hard skin, dry cracked heels, foot corns and callused skin are relatively minor ailments, in many cases more of a frustration than a cause of pain or discomfort.
However these minor inconveniences are exceptionally widespread, with few people managing to avoid these all too common complaints during a lifetime. They are to be expected, endured, and where possible quickly treated. In order to gain rapid relief from pain associated with calluses and corns on feet, and new website has been created and launched this week. Cornsonfeet.net offers advice, tips and help on corns on feet, foot calluses and dry and cracked heels. The new website offers help with basic foot care, reducing the appearance of callused skin and corns, as well as tips for removing at home.
Corns and calluses are some of the most common problem dealt with by podiatrists, and whilst having the layers of dead skin expertly cut away is effective, many seek home treatment when in a few months the corns have returned to the feet. The new website offers help and advice on choosing the best foot corn removal products, as well as detailing how each works and how effective they are.
Cornsonfeet.net can best be described as a compact website, but what it lacks in breadth at the launch is actually to its advantage. There is plenty of information on the website, which is well presented and easy to read, and it offers what many visitors will want to find out quickly, without overwhelming with information.
Website co-creator Jennifer Lee’s aim was to offer a quick guide to treating the minor foot ailments at home. Whilst a podiatrist’s visit is always advisable, “Many people don’t have the time or the spare money to make a trip to a podiatrist to remove what is really more of an annoyance than a problem. When corns and calluses are professionally removed they often come back, so then people tend to look at easy home treatment remedies. I wanted to offer some tips on home”.
Treatment for foot corns and callused skin is only part of the problem. The real trouble many people have with this type of foot complaint is preventing the problem from recurring, which in the case of callused skin and foot corns is almost always the case.
The website covers some of the preventative steps which can be taken, and offers some advice on identifying the root cause of the problem. “If you can isolate the root cause and tackle that, you’ll find that you will not be troubled by corns and calluses again” says Lee
