Exposing historical inaccuracies with biblical scriptures, Thomas details the origins of dinosaurs and traces how (and why) these creatures have entered popular culture. She illuminates that the name “dinosaur” (or dinosauria) was actually coined in 1842, a Greek word meaning “terrible lizard”. However, Thomas reveals that, thousands of years prior to the 1800s, these creatures were named by Adam in Genesis 2:20 as serpent or dragon and other names. Thomas illuminates that dragons are not mythical fantasies, but were instead cursed more by God, along with other animals, during the time of the Garden of Eden and are commonly called snakes today, as stated in Genesis 3:14: So the LORD God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.”

Armed with DNA testing that must be performed (cursed serpent’s spine/bone and non-cursed dragon’s fossil also known as the T-Rex), Thomas goes on to explain the real reason why these various land animals are not extinct, but are cursed. Her argument shows the fallacy of scientific theories (such as asteroids, meteorites, volcano eruptions, and evolving into birds) that have been made to explain the extinction of dinosaurs.
