Well I have discovered that with a few small changes to your eating habits you can make an incredible difference in your physic. Losing fat doesn’t require you to make drastic changes. I’m not talking about not eating bread or the whole carbs are the enemy diets. Trust me I have tried them and you definitely need carbs in your diet. Many of us eat too many carbs because of all the sugar in our diets but we need carbs to feed our bodies. They are an essential part of your diet and they need to be there. I don’t believe in trying to lose weight in an unsustainable way.

Sure you could go on a low carb diet and lose weight but once you go off the “diet” then you will simple gain all your weight back. Many of these diets are simple not sustainable and leave you craving the foods that you really want.

What is the solution?

I have been training for over 20 years and have tried everything from the soup diet, banana diet and vegetable diet, I have tried every imaginable cleanse that you can think of and other than some water loss I never lost any fat. They are not effect for keeping the weight off. Once you go back to your regular eating habits the weight is right there again just like it never left.
So what have I learned throughout my journey. Well it’s all about balance you see I love to eat junk. I’m kinda the worst because I love both sweet and salty treats. I can eat a pan of chocolate chip cookies with a two liter of milk in about 5 minutes flat. So yes I love baked goods but I also love to eat salty things like chips, peanuts and every other delicious treat you can think of.

What do I mean when I say balance?

Depending on your body type and metabolism you can eat lots of junk and still lose fat I do it each week. Sure it’s not good for you in large amounts but in moderation no problem. It’s the things you do on a daily bases that hurt you. It’s just like drinking. If you drink everyday there is no doubt you are going to do damage but if it is only on special occasions or when some friends come over then you are OK.

Moderation is the key.
