Raleigh, North Carolina, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) October 10, 2011 -- Many of you may be wondering why a small businessman would want to take on the daunting task of running for State Senate. The truth is, I ask myself the same question sometimes, but then I remember why I threw my hat into this race.
I am a common man that doesn’t have years of experience in the political arena and has never held an elected position. That is why I am doing it, the country and state is in a mess and I feel that we need business minded people to help lead us out of the pit that we have found ourselves in the last few years.

I am a common man who relies on common sense approaches to solve issues with my business and I feel that the State and our district could benefit from this approach. I repeat I am not a career politician and do not look at this office as a career move for my own personnel gain.
My goal is to create a business friendly district and state so we can start the recovery process to go back to the way we were living before everything fell. I want the input of the people of my district and their ideas. It is said that creative minds combined together create great things. We have the people in our district that are creative and have many of the answers that we have been looking for. As your State Senator I want to be the voice of the people and not the strong-arm of the district. I am a servant leader, meaning that I lead by serving people.

Let’s face it, we are all North Carolinians looking for and wanting the same thing and that is peace of mind for our families, stable jobs, great schools, public protection, and the freewill to expand our dreams. We are the people who make this state, it’s not the Government. It’s the person in the grocery line or the gas station these are the people who make this state what it is and I feel that we all can achieve this through new leadership and a passion for change. If elected to State Senate I will pour my sweat and tears into the job and will be the voice for the people without a voice.
