We will have a guided tour of the process of getting your message to our AZ legislators.
Phoenix NORML, CAMP 420 and Host and member Liz Houricane endorse the global evidence which supports our country's drug policy being an utter failure. People are being arrested at an astronomical rate (over 800,000 annually in the US), communities and families are being destroyed and our politicians continue on their Reefer Madness campaign. Governor Jan Brewer and Arizona State’s Attorney Tom Horne should be working to support the will of the people rather than ongoing frivolous litigation and costly attempts to dismantle the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act (AMMA) or Prop 203.
There are now 18,000 registered medical marijuana patients in Arizona and they deserve elected officials who will respect their vote with regard to medical marijuana.
Come learn how to make a difference and make your voice heard at Cannabis Lobby Day at the Arizona State Capitol.
• We will walk thru the halls of congress and maybe say hi to your representative.
• Learn how to sign up to speak to congress.
• Sign up on "the kiosk" to be able to ask questions of the AZ legislature.
1700 W. Washington, outside of the AZ House of Representatives. Be prompt please. Recommended Dress is Business casual or better. Be prepared to learn which district you are in and who represents you.
