The coffee is the world largest product which is sold as beverages. The popularity of coffee has increased so greatly that these days; there are several verities of coffee items and flavors available in the market. If we go to any coffee shop, there also we find thousands verities of coffee including the hot coffee and cold coffee, coffee shakes and many more. People are not at all hesitating in trying all there new taste and are even ready to accept the upcoming new twist and turns in the same coffee products. Looking at the selling graph, then in India the selling is not so high as compared to the graph of the foreign lands. Thus, it will be very difficult to number the figure, but can be only kept in mind how big name is the coffee.


But, the most important thing which has to be mentioned is the reason of so high popularity. Some say that it is only for the special taste, while for some it is refreshing and amazingly energetic drink. The coffee originates from the coffee beans which can be considered as the birth position of the coffee. Theses beans are then roasted. The process of roasting is actually done to bring about physical and chemical changes in the coffee beans. For this purpose, the coffee roaster is used. In the market, there are various types of roaster available. The coffee roaster actually changes the color of the beans to the dark brownish and also helps in removing the unwanted gases and moisture content within the bean. Only after this process, the coffee bean is considered to be ready for further usage. However, the story doesn’t end over here only. The difficulty comes when it comes to the packaging of these roasted coffee beans.


The roasted coffee packaging is another difficult task. The life of the roasted beans is about two weeks, that too when kept in cool conditions. However, it emits large amount of carbon dioxide for a very long time. This gas has to be removed from the packet, which may ruin the entire flavor and aroma of the coffee beans. This is done using the degassing valve, and to protect the roasted beans from the outside environment, it is packed in the foil or any polymer based strong material. The roasting of coffee is the actual reason for the best flavor and perfect aroma of the coffee, and hence forth it is necessary but requires a lot of care and attention.
