Cape Point Press was established in 2010 by a South African family who settled in the USA. Realizing that there was a dearth of information on South African cooking in the USA, Aileen Wilsen, with a strong background in culinary science, teamed up with her daughter, Kathy, a science writer and editor, to produce the well-received book, South African Cooking in the USA. This book forms the kernel of the capepointpress.com website. In addition, Cape Point Press is the US agent for Glocal’s ever-popular Unforgettable Sunny South Africa Desk Calendar.
