In his announcement the Housing Minister confirmed that in order to maintain lender’s confidence and protect taxpayers, proactive economic regulation should continue.
From April 2012, consumer and economic regulation functions will be transferred from theTenant Service Authority to the Homes and Communities Agency. Capita’s National Social Housing Regulation Conference is timed to provide crucial guidance to housing providers, local authorities and tenants on adapting to the new regulatory landscape, reinforcing the principles of co-regulation and understanding the new Value for Money (VfM) standards.
