Car Hire Comparator Carrentals.co.uk Holds 2nd ‘Book & Donate’ Day for StreetSmart

January 25th sees award-winning comparator hold event in aid of leading homeless charity

The day is dedicated to raising money for homeless charity StreetSmart through a £1 per car hire booking donation on the day.

January 11th saw Carrentals.co.uk host its inaugural ‘Book & Donate’ day which succeeded in raising over £330 for StreetSmart. The money will contribute to projects which focus on education, training, housing and health for homeless citizens - StreetSmart enjoyed the celebrity endorsement of Stephen Fry, Neil Morrissey and Richard Bacon.

Each car hire booking via Carrentals.co.uk on 25th January will raise £1 for StreetSmart.”

Carrentals.co.uk will host additional ‘Book & Donate’ days throughout the spring, with days planned on February 8th and 22nd, and March 7th and 21st.

Every year in November and December StreetSmart works with leading restaurants to raise money for its projects, with the likes of Nobu, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay all taking part. The restaurants add a pound to each diner's bill in a similar format to the Carrentals.co.uk Book & Donate days.
