Caribbean Coast Properties and Punta Cana Lifestyles Real Estate announce the launch of combined sales efforts to support their strategic direction and valued customer base, a company media statement announced on October 1, 2010.

The two local real estate companies will combine their sales operations and real estate services for the local Bavaro and Punta Cana areas. “Our agencies have complementary strengths,” said Jocelyn Irizarry, founder of Punta Cana Lifestyles Real Estate. “The opportunity to bring together the agent talent, marketing resources, and industry and community connections of our two agencies is very exciting.”

Joe Anselmo is founder of Caribbean Coast Properties, a Brokerage and Consulting Company that specializes in Luxury Properties and Resorts in the Caribbean and specifically the Dominican Republic, which represents only exclusive listings located within high end luxury communities such as Cap Cana.

With a career spanning over 26 years, Joe has a notable reputation within the real estate industry. He pioneered one of the first RE/MAX offices in the Central Atlantic Region of the United States in 1989 which became one of the single largest real estate offices in the RE/MAX network closing more than $400 million in sales annually. This gained Joe international recognition and he was twice named Broker/Owner of the Year. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Maryland Association of Realtors and Frederick County Association of Realtors. Throughout his career, Joe has built a strong customer base and referral network.

After discovering the lack of Brokerages that could properly serve the needs of American and European clients for Caribbean Real Estate, Joe redirected his energies to create a professional, full service Brokerage and Consulting Company to fill this tremendous void.

“I experienced first hand the frustrations and concerns, shared in particular with American and European Clients, associated with buying Real Estate in a foreign market” explained Anselmo. “Because I went through the process myself several times, I can relate to the numerous customer service deficiencies this group of buyers faced. Informal merger talks — prompted by Anselmo— started nearly a year ago and sped up over the past two and a half months. “The local Dominican Real Estate market is known for the jack-of-all-trades agent.” Irizarry explained. “Today, it is about specialization, knowledge and execution within a niche. We're just concentrating on our core business and that seems to be working for us.” Everyone in the area sells everything, from cigars to furniture to properties, you can find a company listing a home for us$90,000 and on the same page you will find another home for us$5 million dollars, many offer unrelated services in order to make additional income on commissions.”

"We started looking at our overall business and marketing plans, Is there a better way to do this? Can we generate more sales? We realized we needed to find a niche and continue to build our identity of trust and value in that niche. Both agencies focus on Resort and Vacation Homes, but Joe is a High-End Exclusive Properties Specialist, where as I will be focusing on the moderate priced listings in the area.”
