Carmel Indiana Chiropractor attends Annual Super Conference on Chiropractic & Pediatrics

Dr. Nancy Elwartowski-Cooper of Carmel, Indiana was among the approximate 200 Pediatric Chiropractic Diplomates who attended the Annual Super Conference on Chiropractic & Pediatrics in New York, New York at the Westin Hotel in Times Square on August 19-22.

The topics included chiropractic and the bio-nutritional treatment of autism, tourette syndrome, extra-uterine adaptation of the neonate, childhood stroke, childhood cancers, epigenetics and pregnancy, and the pediatric immune system. This years’ format offered more clinical and expert diplomat presentations, workshops and special programs than ever before. In addition, an exhibit hall filled with a variety of vendors showcased the latest in goods and services to support the pediatric chiropractor.
The Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics is one of the specialty departments of the International
Chiropractors Association and its primary objective is to provide superior postgraduate
education in pediatrics to the doctor of chiropractic so they have the knowledge and skills to
provide care to infants and children that is effective, always safe, and clinically appropriate and
of a high professional standard. The Council also promotes and encourages credible research in
the field by holding research symposiums and publishing a research journal. By providing

doctors of chiropractic with a special interest in caring for children and pregnant
women with the educational opportunities, resources, and support, the Council helps
