(Free-Press-Release.com) January 13, 2012 -- Anthony Miles, Owner and Director of Lucid Element Multimedia (www.lucidelement.com) has announced that the company is down-scaling its operation and focusing on retainer-based specialized design consulting, services and support to better serve the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill North Carolina area. The company has closed its primary office space located at 210 High House Road, Cary North Carolina. Future projects will be coordinated out of Mr. Miles home office location with greater emphasis on off-site personal contact and remote access projects.

Miles had this to say about his company’s restructuring and refocus: “Our decision was based on several issues. An overall depression in the economy has left a relatively dry market insomuch as mid-level business clients with disposable budgets for the types of projects we work with. This is compounded by increased competition from novice designers displaced from other industries and a growing mass of unemployed recent graduates with technical experience. The rate scale for even experienced developers like us took a severe hit. There was a time when the ideal web development project required a large conference room with toys for eye-popping presentations but that is over. Most work is done remotely and, if a client has hardware or network issues or requires consulting we are on-site. So it made sense for Lucid Element to evolve into a leaner more cost effective model.”
