They moved the assembly department, shipping department, and the upholstery department to their new factory at the Saco Street Plant. Modernica also added a fiberglass chair plant to their production facilities. On December 16, 2011 Modernica made the first chair at the new facility and on December 20, had their first official day in fiberglass chair production.
