Castlegem offering E3 Sandybridge with 32GB RAM

based machines, Castlegem is happy to announce availability of dedicated servers with
E3 CPUs and 32GB of RAM, effective immediately. This price drop could be a major
incentive to let go of the somewhat older X34xx series as they, until now, were the only
alternative for an E3 if clients needed a 32GB memory single CPU machine.

During the final sales in December we have also realigned our dedicated server range:

We no longer offer Atom servers (unless specifically requested), and have instead
replaced them with the i3-2100 CPUs that offer several times the performance for only a
small increase in price. Furthermore, we have upgraded the E3 and X34xx series to
feature 8GB of RAM by default to clearly distinguish them from their smaller bother, the
i2-2100/2120 with dual HDD.

We have also adjusted our VPS range for customers seeking an entry level VPS with very
low resource consumption – virtual private servers now start at 256MB memory and are
available as XEN HVM, XEN PV, and OpenVZ in the UK, Austria, and the United States.
