Castoro Joins CIS Government Programs Team

Media, Pennsylvania, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) February 22, 2011 -- PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA, February 22, 2011 – Compliance Implementation Services (CIS), a pharmaceutical compliance consulting firm, announced today that Kathleen Castoro, MBA, has joined the firm as Senior Manager of Pharmaceutical Consulting.

Castoro brings nearly 20 years of industry experience across government programs to her consulting role on the firm’s Government Programs team. She will manage the development and implementation of processes and programs to ensure that government reimbursement programs obtain pricing that is compliant with all federal and state regulations, as well as play a supporting role in the company’s work with the CalcPartner™ and ClaimsPartner™ service lines. Castoro will also ensure timely and accurate filing of all government reports, as well as compliance in the development of pricing calculations and strategy for all government contracts, including Average Manufacturer’s Price (AMP), Best Price (BP), Medicaid Rebate Per Unit (RPU) and 340B Public Health Service ceiling prices.

Prior to joining CIS, Castoro was senior manager of government pricing and contracts at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Inc., where she supported government contracting (VA-FSS) opportunities, assured compliance with all federal program regulations in relation to pricing, reporting, data compliance and contracts, and managed the processes for the manual, systematic and accurate calculation, analysis and timely disclosure of AMP, Medicaid, RPU, PHS, NFAMP quarterly and annual, FSS, and FCP. Castoro also managed government pricing compliance and contracting programs for other leading pharmaceutical companies: Novo Nordisk Inc., Reliant Pharmaceutical Inc., Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Systems, and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
