Catfish Inn Offers A New Dining Experience From The Home Of The Best Catfish Fishing In The World

The Catfish Inn located in 380 Eveline St. Four fully furnished rooms and scrumptious meals are waiting for travelers, tourists, and anyone who wish to have great dine and stay in experience.

Carrie Simpson, the owner and head chef herself built the Catfish Inn out of her childhood dream.

According to Simpson, she’d always wanted to build a restaurant and it has been her lifelong dream. "Growing up, my family told me to open up a restaurant because I did a lot of the cooking when I was younger," said Simpson.

A year ago, Simpson and her husband moved in Winnipeg Beach, by Mid November the couple decided to get into the hospitality business and open the Catfish Inn. Simpson was a former employee at the Team Cherokee Productions in Saskatchewan. Now, she is putting her seven years of expertise on her business.

Yet she wasn’t alone. She was joined by her husband Shawn together with her sister Virginia Melanson and two other waitresses.

The Catfish Inn Restaurant was a perfect place to dine in after having your big catch. The restaurant has a modern touch of design but still caters a cozy ambience that is perfect for laidback souls, friends’ chit chat and family weekend gathering. The restaurant offers a lunch buffet, daily specials, take-out and catering.

The Catfish Inn is open Mondays to Thursday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays and Saturday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. For further inquiries and reservations, please call 204-785-8909.
