It’s four days now since the third IIBA UK Conference finished and I’m still buzzing with the energy created by that event. Over 270 BA’s in one Conference makes it the most successful yet (not bad considering the state of the economy).The IIBA has been incredibly busy—and successful—in setting up chapters around the world.For example, since the beginning of 2007 alone, nearly 25 chapters have been launched—bringing the grand total to nearly 100 chapters around the world.Some of the CBAP IIBA more notable current and upcoming chapters include India, Egypt, Nigeria and Kuwait. The IIBA’s Business Analysis Body of Knowledge? (BABOK?) Committee has also had their recent work cut out for them. The BABOK, currently available in Version 1.6, is the sum of knowledge within the profession of business analysis. It reflects what is considered currently accepted practice. Global Knowledge is the 11th member in the CBAP exam IIBA, which seeks to help its members identify education providers that offer courses on business analysis (BA) that are aligned with the IIBA Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK).

Global Knowledge, the largest privately held provider of training and enterprise learning services for information technology (IT) and management professionals, today announced that five of its courses have been CBAP IIBA endorsed by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBAT).The IIBA held its inaugural meeting in October 2003, in Toronto, Canada with 28 founding members from 21 different organizations and representing over eight countries.
