Celebrate motherhood with LifeCell International’s Antenatal Workshop

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 11, 2010 -- Expectant moms can now enrich themselves with important tips on the care and precautions that are needed before, during and post pregnancy to ensure good health of both mother and the child. LifeCell International, India’s pioneer stem cell banking company is hosting an antenatal workshop at Taj Mount Road on Saturday, February 13, 2010. This session will be conducted by Rekha Sudarsan, Psychologist, Childbirth educator and lactation consultant, who is an expert trainer for mothers-to-be in pregnancy management from 2.00 to 6.00 pm.

The antenatal program is designed to give an overview about pregnancy, and discuss about varied topics related to pregnancy like hormonal changes, diet and nutrition and share tips on maintaining a healthy outlook during pregnancy. The workshop will also emphasize on the benefits of breast feeding and routine exercises and include sessions on birth preparation, handling fear of labour and share tips for normal delivery with the participants. Various myths regarding pregnancy will be busted and queries of the curious parents will be addressed, at the workshop.

The specialist will demonstrate some complicated ‘pelvic exercises’ for muscle relaxation and the attendees will also be educated on the importance and benefits of cord blood stem cell banking for their child which is once in a life time opportunity for them to secure their baby’s future health.
