Bank is sensitive to such statements, she believes that we need to cultivate people who feed our soul and reevaluate the company that we keep in our lives. We should avoid people who lead lives of negativity, hopelessness and quiet desperation and instead actively seek out and gravitate toward like-minded people and people who are greater and more successful than we are. "We should pay especial attention to the wisdom of our highest, most trustworthy inner voice when it comes to choosing our partners - keep up your standards and don't just settle for anything that comes along" she says and goes on: "...once you’ve committed to making the most of yourself and creating a larger vision and purpose for your life, something phenomenal begins to emerge from within you - you attract your perfect soulmate!" While this is not rocket science, many people still struggle nowadays in relationships and tearing each other appart in their struggle for energy, as well as by not loving themselves first.

The artist Annett E. Bank wants to counteract against this. She believes beauty is harmony and when we surround ourselves with beautiful objects like paintings and furniture etc., we make a symbolic statement about our own beauty and soon our mind starts to clear and brighten, and our relationships start to harmonize again. Therefore she sees the highest ambition for her work to introduce people to their own higher potential. The benefits of her paintings don't just stop there though - they certainly revitalizes living spaces, transforms homes and businesses and reflect positively on one's good taste; but they also enhance the personality of the individual who owns it ! In her studio, a new series of custom made colourful, abstract-expressionist paintings of gorgeous, pregnant women is also currently underway, celebrating the divine feminine and the wonder of life through the medium of contemporary art. This is in collaboration with the Doula Consultancy Services from London (www.findadoula.org.uk) - a private midwifery service and non-profit community interest company who provides emotional comfort, support and information for the expecting mother. This unique artistic service will be added to their normal natural birthing services and will offer customised portraits of either just the mother, or featuring her with her partner and child. It will involve commissioned live modeling at home, in a studio - or alternatively, work from photographs. Either way, these original paintings will leave a lasting impression of your most spiritual and precious time before childbirth.
