Celebrations for Belvoir Lincoln

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 17, 2012 -- Belvoir Lettings are pleased to announce that Paul Collins and his team at Belvoir Lincoln have recently celebrated their 15th birthday.

Launched as a cold start on the 4th December 1996, Belvoir Lincoln has gone from strength-to-strength. Located in its own shop premises in the heart of busy Lincoln, it has a growing staff base and looks after numerous properties throughout the town and surrounding areas.

“The business has grown enormously over the 15 years we’ve been trading,” says proprietor Paul Collins. “We started with nothing and we now must be close to managing 600 properties, plus we’re looking after 310 rooms as part of the Student Living Brand. We’re incredibly busy. From a lone start we’ve now got staff too – there’s 13 of us in the team.”

Paul says that the secret of his success lies in his committed team who always work with honesty and integrity...

“I would not have achieved the success of the business without a well-trained and extremely dedicated team who are extremely motivated,” he says.

“I also think our key to running a successful business is that we always do what we say we’re going to – I work very ethically and if I say we’re going to do something we do it. Believing honesty to be another vital ingredient, I’m always truthful too. I think people respect that. Also, we only take on properties that we would live in ourselves so we tend to get the better quality properties – and therefore the best tenants.”

With a rapidly growing business and consistent success it’s hardly surprising that Belvoir Lincoln has been short-listed – and won – many awards.

“Over the years Belvoir Lincoln has won quite a few awards, including Belvoir’s Biggest Turnover and Group Contribution Award,” says Paul. “On a personal level I was also lucky enough to win Belvoir’s Lifetime Achievement Award which was very nice. I was really surprised and extremely proud as I’m the only one in the group to have ever achieved it.”

Commenting on Paul’s achievements, Belvoir MD Dorian Gonsalves said: “Paul is a major contributor to the group and always willing to help other franchise owners. His fantastic efforts were recognised in 2009 when he became the only Belvoir franchise owner to win the Belvoir Lifetime Achievement Award and everyone within the group wishes Paul, his wife Sharon and the team at Belvoir Lincoln great success for the future.”

Before opening a Belvoir franchise Paul had previously been a Warrant Officer in the HM Forces Army. “During my time in the Forces I had let my own house and was unhappy with the service I received,” explains Paul. “By chance, one day I opened a copy of Pathfinder Magazine and saw a double-page spread about Belvoir. I thought ‘I think I could do that’ and here we are 15 and a bit years later!

“I thoroughly enjoy running my Belvoir office and am pleased I took on the challenge all those years ago.”
