Celtic Bank Hires Liz Schaper as Vice President - SBA Business Development Officer

San Diego, CA – April 5th, 2010 – Celtic Bank recently announced that it has hired Liz Schaper as Vice President - SBA business development officer for the San Diego and Inland Empire region. “Liz has a great attitude and work ethic, I feel confident she will help Celtic Bank with its efforts in California,” said Reese Howell, Jr., chief executive officer of Celtic Bank.

Schaper has over 12 years experience in commercial lending on both the credit and sales sides of the business. She has worked in the San Diego/Inland Empire lending market for over 10 years and has secured financing for many small businesses in the region over that time. She has a consultative sales approach and uses her credit training and experience to provide custom solutions to even the most complicated transactions.

Schaper has an MBA from West Texas A&M and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Davidson College. While obtaining her undergraduate degree, Schaper was a 4 year starter on an NCAA Division I soccer team.
