Cornelius, North Carolina – August 25, 2011 -- Cornelius based developer, Centdev Properties, LLC has reorganized their business structure to become more efficient and focused on new opportunities in the current business environment and economy. Started in 2002, Centdev’s business has been commercial retail development with a focus on building single tenant projects up to regional shopping centers throughout the country. Going forward Centdev will retain the same partnership structure with Jeff Wakeman, Dale Tweedy and Ann Vano but will manage the properties and shopping centers that are held in the Centdev portfolio.

Stonegate Developers, LLC is a new entity focused on new commercial retail developments and student housing developments in the southeastern U.S. “With a background of over 200 projects of various sizes in 22 states we feel our experience and our proven success in commercial development will allow us to continue developing high quality projects for ourselves and our clients,” said Dale Tweedy who is a partner in Stonegate Development, “In addition, we believe there’s a significant opportunity in select communities throughout the Southeast to provide housing for the growing student population at colleges and universities.”

Stonegate Developers has just completed their initial student housing project and have several more slated. In addition, Stonegate Developers has three commercial retail projects under contract for new development, the first slated to be delivered in December 2011.
