Chief Organizing Officer of Let's Get Organized in Bergen County, N.J., Will Share Tips on
Managing Life Changes More Easily through Better Organization
WESTWOOD, N.J., March 12, 2013 “ Certified professional organizer Gayle Gruenberg, CPO-CD® of Let's Get Organized, LLC will present œDe-clutter and Organize Your Life: A Roadmap for Adults in Transition on Thursday, April 4 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Ridgewood Public Library. The free seminar is for men and women experiencing life transitions and facing the challenges of getting or staying organized during this period. Gruenberg will discuss how to manage transitions more successfully through organization and will share her four simple steps to clutter control, downsizing the home, and dealing with paperwork.
œClutter can adversely affect our inner lives as well as our relationships with others, said Gruenberg. œWhen people experience a significant life event or transition, their organizing systems or lack thereof tend to break down, which exacerbates an already stressful situation. In addition, old systems may no longer fit someone's current lifestyle such as in the case of someone downsizing to a smaller home.
During her presentation on April 4, Gruenberg will also lead attendees in an exploration of what they need to get started on their organizing projects, what types of thinkers they are and how that affects their organizing styles, and review common project interrupters and how to circumvent them.
Gruenberg, a certified professional organizer based in Westwood, N.J., has earned certificates of study in Chronic Disorganization (CD) and Basic Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), and Level II Specialist certification in CD and ADD from the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization. In addition to the chronically disorganized and those with hoarding issues, she works with the elderly on senior move management and downsizing, and individuals dealing with life transitions, problems with clutter control, and those overwhelmed by paperwork. She was voted #1 space organizer in Bergen County in the 2012 Bergen Health & Life Readers' Choice Awards.
