CF Jordan recognized for stellar job in constructing Armed Forces Reserve Center Joint Maintenance Facility

U.S. Rep. Silvestre Reyes was the keynote speaker at the event and praised the state-of-art facility, Fort Bliss and America’s military force. Maj. Gen. John F. Nichols, Texas adjutant general, also noted that the facility’s location is ideal for keeping America safe.

CF Jordan received the award for going above and beyond the normal expectations in a partnership between a construction company and owner. CF Jordan completed the AFRC Joint Maintenance Facility on time and within budget while facing on-the-job challenges. Gary Mullen, planning and programming branch chief with the adjutant general’s department, presented CF Jordan executive vice president Mike Miller and project manager Victor Dominguez with a plaque at the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Jan. 7.

The facility is the largest, state-of-the-art facility on the border in Texas. The facility is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified, which will leave a positive footprint in the local community. The joint maintenance facility accommodates two branches of the military, the Army National Guard and United States Army Reserve.
