Chad Dawson's Inner Circle Member Sets The Record Straight

(November 4, 2009) – A reliable source inside the inner circle of Chad Dawson has confirmed to The Paper Champions Society, an interesting behind the scenes perspective on Chad Dawson. With only a few days left until Chad Dawson's November 7, 2009 light heavyweight title defense, boxing fans will find these comments surprising.

"Chad stated in the press he wanted the rematch with Glen Johnson, that's a lie to fool the fans," said Mister X, anonymous member of Chad Dawson's inner circle. "Chad wanted to avoid fighting Glen Johnson again like the plague, but his lack of options forced him to take this hard fight."

"Chad is a talented and naturally gifted boxer but deep down inside he doesn't care about putting on exciting fights for the boxing fans," said Mister X. Chad could care less about boxing fans or his legacy as a fighter, he usually chooses fights that make the most money by fighting the weakest opposition possible. "Chad is the kind of boxer who lacks determination and heart but beats most opponents with his natural boxing ability."

"Chad is a boxer who has an average chin and likes to hold a lot, any fighter who has a good punch, a good work rate, good defense and tons of heart can beat Chad Dawson." Mister X stated most guys who fought Chad get frustrated by his natural boxing ability, but a real experienced complete fighter can overcome that with heart and determination. "I have been around a lot of good fighters in my boxing days and Chad is no where near the top of that list."

"Chad has a lot of people around him kissing his ass telling him he's a great fighter," said Mister X. But when Chad gets in a tough, those cheerleaders are no where to be found and can't help him. "So far Chad has been been able to deal with the level of opposition he has faced, but what happens when he fights someone who wants to win more than him? He will be up the creek without a paddle."

"Personally, I don't even like Chad that much but I do like the benefits of being a member of Chad's inner circle," said Mister X. I could care less if people say I'm a Chad Dawson groupie or flunkie but I know a lot of people wish they could be me."

"On November 7, 2009, Chad will be in a tough fight, but I'm smart enough to bet money on Glen Johnson to win this fight. This is the kind of fight where betting on the underdog I can make some extra money."

The Paper Champions Society would like to thank Mister X for his candid perspective on Chad Dawson. There are so many unanswered questions about Chad Dawson, but everything will be answered on November 7, 2009.
