Antellus, a publisher and seller of science fantasy adventure and nonfiction books and ebooks, has instituted changes to its website and selling program to maximize customer satisfaction and create a community of independent authors.
Effective December 26, 2011, the following changes have been made to the web site in order to make it a more attractive selling platform for books and ebooks in the genres it publishes.
The site's logo has been redesigned to make more space.
A new selling platform will make it possible for other authors to post their books on Antellus.com for sale for a small commission, expanding the list and giving independent authors more exposure for their books. All new listings will be subject to review and approval. Details are available on the site.
"I had thought of this years before but could not gain the traction necessary to make the site viable," Antellus owner and CEO Theresa M. Moore said. "Now that more funding is available the training wheels are off."
The Amazon links to the paperbacks have been removed, making Antellus a completely separate entity and independent from Amazon.com; and more focused on Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, Apple, Diesel, Sony, and other book and ebook sellers.
Free shipping of the print books will continue to be offered through the end of March of 2012, when a small flat shipping fee will be imposed on all physical books. The cost to ship the books has gone up significantly enough that something must be done to mitigate it. Imposing a flat fee which is less than the standard postage rate is necessary. Ebooks carry no shipping costs.
Antellus is a privately owned independent publisher and a subsidiary of Nagrasanti Enterprises, located in Los Angeles, California. For more information, visit the web site or contact us by email at info(at)antellus.com.
