Charity cyclist reaches Sudan
Bjorn Heidenstrom, who is cycling all the way from Norway to Cape Town for the 2010 World Cup finals, has just reached Sudan.
Bjorn is collecting football shirts en route to the 2010 football World Cup, and hopes to unveil the world’s biggest football shirt made from football shirts at the opening ceremony in June.
Bjorn is doing this to highlight the plight of the world's refugees. The Shirt 2010 project has already been on the road for more than 200 days with Bjorn having so far cycled through 30 countries.
The lone Norwegian is actively working to unite the entire football family behind the project, with Egypt being the latest football-mad country to enthusiastically sign up to the Shirt 2010.
It is hoped that this huge shirt will feature in the opening ceremony of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and soon be included in the World Guinness Book of Records.
