Coatesville, Pennsylvania, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) November 22, 2011. After three months of operations, OneRunTogether Inc. proudly announces and welcomes you to their first event!

OneRunTogether Inc. is a non-profit corporation that began on August 26, 2011 to assist local cancer patients. This company hosts 5k and 10k races on local Pennsylvania golf courses. This revolutionary idea has brought a new buzz to the country club industry and to local runners as well. Aside from 5k and 10k races, OneRunTogether Inc. also hosts golf tournaments and seasonal dinners to advance this cause.

CEO and Executive Director, Vernon Murphy Jr. created this company to raise money for local cancer patients. Two years ago his wife passed away after a final battle with cancer. When asked why he started this company he responded,

"I have been involved in many sports but surprisingly running was not one of them. I hated to run unless I had to. That changed in April 2010. Now, running is an integral part of my life. I had gone through a difficult time in my life and needed something to help me sleep and focus.

My loving wife Beth had breast cancer and passed away on November 13, 2009 at the age of 46. The pain of watching her suffer from this horrible disease was excruciating, but because of that experience (and my running), OneRunTogether was born. God has given me the vision and passion to raise money for cancer patients because I know firsthand the costs, both financially and emotionally, that cancer can have on a family. My hope and goal is to ease their burden as much as possible."

OneRunTogether's first event will take place on December 17, 2011 at French creek Golf Club. This benefit dinner will be a time to cherish family and friendships while helping local cancer patients.
