Rebecca Pogonitz, owner of Schema Interiors states that, “the myth that an Interior Designer is a luxury is false. In today’s economy they are a necessity when making changes to or building a new home.” She goes on to say that, “the Interior Designer guides the client through the design process so that money is invested wisely for the long term, banishing the need to redecorate or remodel for many years.”

When building a home people hire an architect and construction contractor. However without the guidance of an interior designer, they often spend thousands of dollars on finishes that they soon regret. In addition, they have a built a house without carefully considering their own personality and lifestyle.
