Chevy reveals when the Volt will be released for sale.

(Free-Press-Release.com) March 7, 2011 -- Chevy has recently announced that the brand will release the Volt in all U.S. states by the end of the 2011 calendar year. Chevy listened to its customers who expressed interest in purchasing the Volt as soon as possible, and sped up the production schedule by sox months to meet the end of year deadline. Chevy originally planned to complete the Volt rollout by mid-year in 2012, but the brand says customer interest was so great that the company sped up its delivery date to accommodate customer demand. The Chevy volt is a plug-in hybrid vehicle that runs for up to 35 miles on electric power. Chevy is excited for the release of the Volt because it is attracting many buyers who were not previously interested in Chevy. Chevy dealer Harry Criswell says, “The Volt is clearly bringing new customers to Chevrolet. We are seeing 10 to 15 customers a week who are seriously considering buying a Volt. Many of them own competitive brands and now have a Chevy on their shopping list because of the Volt.”
