French Market, 01/03/2012 /Padma Gonpo Inc / -- City dwellers and commuters will have a new place in the French Market that will feel more like home. Chef John des Rosiers, owner of the North Shore’s Inovasi and Wisma is making the move to the City by opening a Wisma location in the French Market at the Ogilvie Travel Center. Commuters may already have some familiarity with Wisma due to the north shore locations. Wisma, is a growing chain of gourmet food and beer/wine cafe stores which combine locally sourced high quality foods with the convenience of take out. The new Wisma will open for business on January 3, 2012. The French Market Wisma will have a friendly cafe atmosphere, with a more defined entrance and the feel of a distinct shop, unlike most of the counter vendors at the market. Although this version of Wisma will be slightly pared down compared to the other Wisma locations, it will still offer the opportunity to sit and relax in a lunch-with-friends atmosphere that the other locations are known for. The French Market just might be “last-stop-before-getting-on-the-train” destination.
