Children In Film, Inc. Announces Upcomining Actor Networking Event For Aspiring Child Actors

Children In Film, Inc. has announced that they will be holding their next “Ready… Set… Meet!” event on May 22nd. CIF's Ready… Set… Meet! is an actor networking event for young performers that features Hollywood industry professionals. The event is designed to help aspiring child actors practice their interviewing skills and get face-time with reputable professionals that work in Hollywood showbiz.

Children In Film's Ready… Set… Meet! events are modeled after speed dating where a number of attendees enter a room with a number of professionals and spend three minutes with each where they perform a short monologue, answer and ask questions and display their star-potential. Actor networking events such as Ready… Set… Meet! allow children to interact with industry professionals on a more intimate level and also provide a presentation to share information with parents to help better build Hollywood connections.

On May 22nd, Ready… Set… Meet! will feature casting directors and provide a catered lunch. Special guests Erik Lingvall of the Acting Camp and Bode Helm, a professional headshot photographer, will also be in attendance. Aside from the casting opportunities provided during this actor networking event, these two special guests will provide additional insight on Hollywood showbiz.

Ready… Set… Meet! takes place in Los Angeles and is free of charge for “Enhanced Members” of ChildrenInFilm.com.
