FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
New YORK ,New Jersey, Connecticut, New York, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) February 23, 2011 -- Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation (CBTF) announced today that they are the newest charity to become associated with Fantasy Sports 4 Kids (www.fs4k.com).

Fantasy Sports for Kids (FS4K) connects participants of fantasy sports leagues, charitable organizations and their communities, and professional athletes. It was created to facilitate communication between these communities and to provide an opportunity for individuals to play a role in the enhancement and betterment of children impacted by illness, disease, poverty, or other affliction.

FS4K encourages fantasy sport league owners to identify a charity of choice and to secure commitments from league members to set aside $20 each to benefit that charity. Individual members can also nominate charities to their league owners. At the end of the season the league winner is credited with making a $200 donation to the designated charity. He or she also gets a cool FS4K 2010 Champion T-Shirt.

The Children's Brain Tumor Foundation (CBTF) was founded in 1988 by a group of parents, physicians and friends to improve the treatment, quality of life, and the long term outlook for children with brain and spinal cord tumors through research support, education, and advocacy to families and survivors. Its goal is to ensure parents are informed and able to advocate effectively on behalf of their children.

CBTF and FS4K joined forces as a result of a fantasy league participant who is also knows CBTF’s work. According to Brian Riggs, FS4K founder, “ Fantasy Sports for Kids is very excited about our partnership with The Children's Brain Tumor Foundation. We look forward to our future collaborative efforts in reaching our goals of change children's lives."

Joe Fay, CBTF’s Executive Director, added, “We know that men are generous donors to charities, but they can be challenging to reach and engage through traditional media. Connecting them, and the millions of women who also participate in fantasy sports leagues, to an organization like ours through a recreational activity like fantasy sports is perfect. FS4K has made it easy for participants to know and support us while pursuing pastimes they’re really invested in.”
