FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 15, 2011 --
Preschool children from the Grove City area swept the floor, set the table and made their beds to earn money to buy non-perishable food for the less fortunate, in addition to collecting canned goods at their schools. On December 2nd, more than 120 four and five-year-olds from five Primrose Schools in the columbus Market will unload their hard earned food purchases, can-by-can, and donate to Mid-Ohio Food Bank in Grove City.
This donation of several thousand food items comes when American families find themselves in critical need as men, women and children face hunger. According to Feeding America, a total of 36 million Americans struggle with hunger, including 13 million chilldren.
Recently students combined their earnings, created a detailed shopping list and hit the aisles of local supermarkets, in conjunction with Primrose’s “Caring and Giving” activities. As part of Primrose Schools’ Balanced Learning® Curriculum, this hands-on event helps students understand the value of generosity, math, nutrition and planning skills.
