Under the pressure from global low carbon economy development, China reassessed its routine in strategizing the development of the national coal conversion industry. China Coal Conversion High Tech International Forum, the only timely event hosted by International Energy Foundation, Shaanxi Chemical Institute, Yanchang Petroleum Group and Galleon Corporation, covered five key fields including Coal to Liquid, Coal to SNG, Coal to DME, Coal to Olefin and Coal to Glycol.
150+ industrial leaders participated in this stellar gathering, enjoying ample opportunities of mingling with the industrial elites for deal making and partnerships. There were 30+ one-to-one business meetings specifically arranged between Yanchang Petroleum Group and the sponsor companies, which was regarded as the pre-warm for the bidding event at the beginning of 2010.
Besides, there were just some highlighted topics discussed in this event.
The high level event featured detailed information on the Chinese government’s restructured industrial plan, presented by Li Jinfeng, Director of National Development and Reform Commission.
Meanwhile, the prospects of coal derived downstream products in terms of its economics and technology maturity was discussed by Ren Xiangkun, Chairman of Shenhua Coal Liquefaction Corporation.
Adding their large-scale perspectives to the discussions were leaders from Sasol International, Yanchang Group, Yankuang Group, Xinkuang Group, Jiutai Group, ENN Group, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics and Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter.
Galleon’s next energy chemical forum will take place late in 2010, affiliated with Sinopec, PetroChina and CNOOC. For more information, visit www.galleonevents.com or call 86-21-6090-0499.
