China Sichuan Changhong starts its 3D TV expansion

As the naked eye 3D TV isn’t the current mainstream of product development, in the production of glasses-style 3D television, Changhong will be focus on shutter type technology and polarized-based technology actively for future product development.

China Sichuan Changhong starts its 3D TV expansion

Changhong launched its 3D TV expansion plan in September this year, plans to build world’s largest 3D TV product research and development base. According to the plan, based on Oubaoli, Changhong 3D TV will reach to 90 million units in 2011 and will increase to 250 million units in 2012. In screen size, it will cover 50 to 63 inches and 3D to PDP, 3D to LED two categories.

In the first half of this year, Changhong Oubaoli 3D TV has a obvious advantages in the market. With its 30,000 unit’s sales volume, it has become the single product sales champion in National day 3D TV market. It has been out of supply in Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Fuzhou, Kunming and other cities.
