Christmas events take off at the Excelsior Hotel in Thessaloniki

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 8, 2011 -- In a city famous for its nightlife and culinary excellence, the Bistro at the Excelsior Hotel in Thessaloniki provides an enticing atmosphere whether for after work cocktails or gourmet lunches and dinners. Having always provided exceptional culinary events, the Bistro is now heating things up for the Christmas season.

Kicking off on December the 12th to the 17th, French cuisine will be in the spotlight for a week. A charity Bazaar taking place on the 14th meanwhile, will give people the opportunity to support the efforts of the “Storgi” organization. Sunday December the 18th from 16:00 to 22:00, is when the “Afternoon Gluwein”, a four course menu meal accompanied by three different wines will take place, amazing diners.

On Christmas Eve, the 24th of December, there will be two events: From 14:00 to 20:00, the Christmas Eve Afternoon Party will be accompanied by live music, cocktails and European & Asian delicacies. This will be followed by the Christmas Dinner at 21:30, a six course formal menu designed by the Bistro’s chef Harris Sakalis reminiscent of the dinner served at the Mediterranean Palace in 1970.

On Christmas Day, an amazing brunch from 11:00 to 18:00 will celebrate one of the most important days in the year with joy and culinary delicacies.

For New Year’s Eve, the Bistro’s pre - New Year’s Eve Party from 14:00 to 20:00 will feature champagne, canapés, sushi and live music. Later on at 21:30, the New Year’s Eve Dinner will bring in the New Year with a gourmet dinner designed once again by Harris Sakalis accompanied by party tunes.

The First Brunch of the Year will take place from 11:00 to 18:00 on Sunday January the 1st 2012 to celebrate the beginning of 2012.
