CHRISTOPHER RINN TAKES ON ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AS NEW CHIEF LIAISON IN EXTERNAL GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS FOR LIBERTYHEALTH

JERSEY CITY, N.J. – March 16, 2010 – On Feb. 25, Christopher Rinn became the new chief liaison in external government affairs for LibertyHealth System, succeeding a position formerly held by John Doyle, senior vice president of corporate administration, who retired last month. In addition to his current responsibilities as executive director of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) department of the Jersey City Medical Center (JCMC), Rinn will direct all state and federal governmental relations for LibertyHealth System and all advocacy and regulatory affairs for clinical franchises, and its affiliated medical school.
Reporting directly to Joseph Scott, president and CEO of LibertyHealth, Rinn will play an integral role in the decision-making process while maintaining a level of knowledge of state executive and legislative affairs, as well as the general regulatory environment. Known as one of the busiest EMS units in the country, Rinn has proven an effective communicator and spent the majority of his career contributing to JCMC’s consistently growing success on many fronts.
