Christophor Rick Becomes Player 1 as CEO at Gamers Daily News

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 18, 2009 -- Christophor Rick, former Gamers Daily News (GDN) Editor-in-Chief, has been appointed CEO of the company in a reorganization move. Taking over the reins from Wade Hinkle, Mr. Rick will be focusing on lifting GDN to the next level.

“We're doing well now, but we can be and will be better. As part of my new role I am recommitting GDN to it's goal of being the premier independent gaming news source and will strive to make that possible,” said Mr. Rick, “I am now looking at the organization as a whole and have the power to make the changes I believe are necessary to lift us to that next level.”

Prior to joining GDN in summer 2008, Mr. Rick was Co-Editor of Generation: Gamerz. He replaces Wade Hinkle who will stay on at GDN in a less intensive role. His departure from the CEO position is for personal reasons. “I believe that Christophor is the perfect person for the job right now and I believe that he will bring GDN the success it deserves,” said Mr. Hinkle.
