The minimum loan amount is $75,000, the Church must have existed for a minimum of 3 years, and may borrow up to 5.25 X gross income.

One of the loan programs offered is the Church Sanctuary Saver. In hard economic times, churches may find themselves facing reduced tithes and offerings and possibly the inability to repay a loan. With this particular program, a church that is in foreclosure may be able to find help getting back on track. By refinancing a loan, the church may be able to restructure its payments to an amount that meets their current income. While interest rates for this loan are higher than traditional loans, payments for the first three years can be interest only.

The traditional 5/25 and 5/20 loan is one of the most commonly used types, this loan uses an underwriting method called Debt Service Coverage to determine how much the church may borrow. There are usually no personal guarantees for this particular loan, and it usually has excellent rates and terms.
