Kittery Maine - Power Sound of New England, (PSNE) has announced the completion of a Church Video design and AV installation project at St. Mary Church in Chelmsford, MA. The Massachusetts church video projection project is part of a series of audio visual systems’ upgrades the parish has chosen Power Sound of New England for. “We are honored to have earned the parish’s trust in our audio visual system design and installation. We strive to continue to provide reliable AV systems and unparalleled customer care to all our church customers— from the initial consultation to long after a system is installed”, said company GM, T. Jennings.
One successful facet of the project was Church Video Projection. The clergy and staff at the church wanted to project Mass to overflow areas including the parish hall. Parish Security: They also wanted secure way to keep the church open to the congregation with out compromising security. Church video cameras integrated into a digital video recording system designed by Power Sound of New England effectively answered the call.

Video recording of Masses is the focus of the video projection for the church. A camera, mounted in the choir loft records Masses and activity at the altar. The video is projected live to high-definition monitors in the chapel and narthex. The chapel, which features a glass wall of windows looking in the sanctuary space, can be used for overflow congregation or as a mother’s room for managing fidgety babies. The church video can also be relayed to the projector mounted in the parish hall, and displayed on the large format projection screen. The parish hall system can, at any chosen time, function independently for religious education, films, or other presentations.
Another feature of the custom audio visual system designed by PSNE—the leader in Audio Visual solutions for worship—is a camera and digital video recorder that provides church video security. The system offers ways to record church entrances and sensitive areas. With monitors installed in offices the parish staff can monitor any of the areas, including the sanctuary, Tabernacle, office entrance, and parking lot as needed.
