At Discovery Church Weymouth MA we are a young Baptist Church celebrating are first 2 years in the community. It has been a great and exciting 2 years witnessing growth in attendance and making a positive impact in the community of Weymouth and the surrounding towns. I became a member of Discovery Church just one week ago. I have been attending Sunday morning service here at Discovery for over six months now. I was amazed at the dedication of the staff and the passion of the people whom attend on Sundays.We are all at different levels in our walk with the Lord, Some are non-Christian just being curious, some are new to Christianity, and some have been Christians for many years, but that has no bearing on how you are treated at Discovery Church.We have a dedicated and talented worship team which leads us in contemporary Christian music every Sunday. We are passionate about being a relevant and exciting church where people can find a vibrant faith. Jesus was the master of all communicators and often taught using examples and teaching aids that fit within the culture where He was. His use of illustrations helped his listeners grasp and take to heart the concepts that he taught.

This is what really excites me about Discovery Church. By Jesus' example, Discovery Church will always be on the look out for new illustrations and methods to help people understand Biblical truth in today's culture and grow deeper in their faith. We believe the message is sacred, but methods are not. So at Discovery Church, the music is rockin', the atmosphere is casual, the people are friendly and the teaching is applicable to your life right now.
