Vancouver – With so much rain this spring, it's no wonder that Vancouverites take advantage of the beautiful summer months. We get out in that sun and do everything active that we possibly can in the limited time that we have. A favorite of almost everyone is biking.

June is bike month, a month where the emphasis is put on Vancouver's fastest growing method of transportation. With over 400km of bike routes, Vancouver is ready to accommodate.

To help exalt the joys of biking and promote a healthy and active lifestyle, Momentum Fitness will be holding the annual “Bike Month Challenge” to all clients and trainers. Two years ago, our clients and trainers rode for a combined distance took them across Canada, over 11,000km! They started in Vancouver and biked their way to Cape Spear, Newfoundland. Last year, Tour De France was the bike route to conquer and our clients got to experience the French countryside from the comfort of our stationary bikes!

This June, the “Bike Month Challenge” will challenge clients to set their own personal biking distance goals. They will pick a distance that they will bike and then strive to meet that goal when they are at Momentum Fitness and on their own. Our challenges have helped our clients reach goals they never thought were achievable, leaving them feeling amazing and rejuvenated!

As a greater goal Momentum Fitness hopes to have enough clients and trainers bike together for a combined distance that would circumnavigate Australia, a total of 15,757km. They will start in Sydney, biking their way between most major cities around Australia until making it back to Sydney through Newcastle.

Momentum Fitness, a training facility that specializes in personal training, has clients ranging from golfers who want to lower their score to the busy executive who doesn’t have enough time to stay fit. Momentum’s mission is to apply our extensive knowledge and experience towards helping clients achieve a higher level of fitness and quality of life.
