Cisco Systems Selects 2X Software’s Android Client as a Core Business App for Cisco Cius

Sept. 14, 2011 – 2X Software announced today that its 2X Client for Android, approaching the 500,000 downloads mark from the Android Market, has been selected by Cisco Systems for pre-installation on new Cisco Cius devices, in addition to existing iPhone, iPad and Android connectivity with 2X ApplicationServer XG. Cius is Cisco’s Android-based enterprise-ready tablet, combining voice, video, collaboration, and virtualization capabilities to meet the needs of businesses of all sizes. Cisco Cius also allows organizations to deliver an optimized tablet with enterprise-grade security, naturally extending their enterprise network, as well as providing centralized manageability, mobility and a wide variety of applications. 2X Client for Android will allow Cisco Cius users the ability to access RDP desktops from any location and provide connectivity to the new 2X ApplicationServer XG, providing application and desktop delivery to any platform or device.
