Citizen Concepts Unveils PatriotApp for the iPhone

PatriotApp™ is the world's first iPhone application that enables users to interact with government agencies using smartphone technology. PatriotApp™ was founded on the belief that citizens can provide the most sophisticated and broad network of eyes and ears necessary to prevent terrorism, crime, environmental negligence, or other malicious behavior. Now, citizens can actively participate in creating safer, cleaner, and more efficient communities via social networking and mobile technology.

The PatriotApp™ smartphone interface adapts many government reporting tools that are difficult to find or are currently unavailable on the smartphone platform. The PatriotApp™ interface incorporates numerous reports or subject areas including, but not limited to: National Security, Crime, Environmental Safety, and Government Waste, as well as Corporate Issues (e.g., discrimination or white collar crime) - all at the user's fingertips.

PatriotApp™ consolidates the real-time reporting process by creating agency specific, easy to use pull down menus, slide bars, and quick content selection. To further simplify this process, there are pre-populated forms, GPS location activation (option) and photo attachment (option) -all seamlessly activated at login. Once submitted, a real-time response is generated to the responsible agency and a data summary copy is emailed to the user. Users may also post their summaries to social networks such as Twitter, Facebook and the PatriotApp™ Blog.
