This program saw 40 offenders arrested and identified within 11 weeks, with the remaining offenders ceasing to offend through word of mouth of a swift, decisive campaign.
The program combines a huge array of graffiti knowledge, an online database, live feed camera flooding on dozens of sites and a dedicated team in shutting down entire graffiti networks quickly and effectively.
The appreciation that local Police resources are stretched to capacity meant a program that totally supported both City and its Police was needed. GRIP's knowledge of graffiti, the offenders, and GRIP staff's daily interaction with local Police has made the difference.
The GRIP program included an expert field audit amassing thousands of images and a snapshot of all offenders and evidence needed. Site paint outs and deployments of live micro feed cameras in every major hot spot meant that Police had main offenders in custody nearly every night
The program delivered everything it said it would. Our removal contractor is almost totally out of work. We had tried everything else possible with little success. The City looks fantastic, and is seeing immediate cost benefits, plus the offenders have stopped. We couldn't have asked for more.
