Claremont Sunrise Rotary to Hold Turkey Trot 5K Run to Raise Youth Sports Scholarship Fund

California, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) October 27, 2010 -- Claremont Sunrise Rotary to hold Turkey Trot to Raise Youth Sports Scholarship Fund

The Claremont Sunrise Rotary Club is holding its third Annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning, November 25, 2010. The1K run/walk will start at 7:30a.m., and the 5K run at 8:00 a.m. at the Claremont Depot. The race will head around the Claremont Colleges and the historical homes in the Claremont Village area ending back on First Street.
Funds are raised both through registration fees and the generous sponsorships of local businesses.

Proceeds from this event have established the Claremont Youth Sports Scholarship Fund which makes money available to local sports programs to assist young athletes needing assistance to meet registration fees. To date, over 300 kids have received assistance from this fund.
