Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce forms the Hispanic Business Council

The Hispanic Business Council was formed by the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce to provide resources to help Hispanic Businesses realize their American Dream and bring the entire business.

Clearwater, FL - July 6, 2009 - The Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce (CRCC) "The Premier Voice of Business" has announced Hispanic Business Night. Realizing the importance of reaching out to the Hispanic businesses as a valuable and important force of the business community, the CRCC has formed the new Hispanic Business Council. The first Resource Information Night for Hispanic businesses will be on Thursday, July 16th at the Best Western Grand Hotel 29967 US Highway 19 N. Clearwater from 6-9PM. The CRCC will be the leader in helping to provide the information, tools, contacts and counseling needed to either start a business or strengthen a business in any type of economy. Roy De Jesus, from Bay News 9 will be making a guest appearance.

• Pinellas County Economic Development
• Small Business Administration
• Hispanic Business Initiative Fund (HBIF)
• SCORE
• St. Petersburg College
• 2-1-1- Tampa Bay
• Florida Bank and the
• CRCC will be there to provide information on the Stimulus Package, Financing Your Business and Business Counseling covering several topics.

The event sponsors are Wal-Mart, Best Western, Florida Bank, HBIF, City of Clearwater, SCORE, Pinellas County, 2-1-1, SBA, St. Petersburg College, 1550 AM La Invasora and Poblanos. Refreshments will be provided by Poblanos.
