CleenCell® Wipes Announces Launch of Mobile Hygiene Awareness Campaign

CleenCell®, a Los Angeles startup and makers of specialty pre-moistened cloths for cell phones and smartphones, announced today the launch of MobileHygiene.org, a public health awareness campaign aimed toward raising awareness about the health risks of using a dirty cell phone, the most handled and personal electronic device over 200,000,000 Americans own today (1).

MobileHygiene.org is seeking collaborations with the infectious disease and health care communities to initiate research toward developing infection prevention guidelines for specific industries such as hospitals, restaurants, and offices.

It’s been proven that harmful bacteria build up on cell phones from all the talking, texting, and using of specialty apps. This can have negative heath effects for teens, moms, doctors, patients, restaurant patrons, students and virtually all mobile users.
